Hoyer Three-phase explosion proof e-motors for chemical applications
Hoyer EX e-motors are designed to equipment installed in rooms and areas (zone 1 or 2), in which explosive mixtures of combustible gas and vapour with air, classified as group II, temperature class T5 or lower (maximum surface temperature below 100°C), may appear. Motors fulfill below mentioned standard requirements:
PN-EN 60034-1 and PN-EN 60079-0, PN-EN 60079-1, PN-EN 60079-7.

Correct cooperation of explosion proof motors (in execution '-f') with frequency converters has been found during the laboratory tests, in which following types of frequency converters were used:

- SIEMENS series Simovert Masterdrives and Sinamics G120, G150
- VACON series NX

In case of ordering e-motors for the variable frequency drives, please always provide detailed information regarding frequency converter (manufacturer, type, etc.) in order to select the e-motor correctly.
Hoyer Three-phase explosion-proof e-motors size 315 (group IIC) for chemical applications
The e-motors are designed for use in equipment installed in rooms and areas (zone 1 or 2), where explosive mixtures of combustible gas and vapour with air, classified as group II, temperature cat. T5 or lower, may appear. They ensure high safety standards and are classified to cat. 2G acc. to 94/9/WE Directive (ATEX).

Our general purpose flameproof motors are designed for operation in mines endangered by the explosion of the methane and coal dust in the spaces (zones one and two) where explosive mixtures of combustible gases and steams of liquid with air can occur. E-motors comply with the requirements of the EN 60034-1, EN 60079-0 i EN 60079-1 standards for group I i IIA and PN-G-38010:1997 (at 1000V). These e-motors belong to the category M2, 2G according to the Directive 94/9/WE (ATEX).
